Any issues with Hornady 155 grain Steel Match?

Has anyone had any issues using a lot of this .308 BTHP ammo, especially in semi autos?

I have heard people say they don't extract well and tgey had failures to fire. Also seen all the common complaints about steel cases that it is hard on firearms and breaks parts and they don't seal in the chamber properly when firing.

Some people also said accuracy fell off at distance so I was going to run some over my Magnetospeed speed and see how consistent they are.

Interesting. I picked up a couple of boxes at the recent gun show here...I plan to try them out with my LR-308 later this week.

I have heard stories of surplus steel case ammo having the problems you mention, but I'd like to think that the Hornady product will do better.
 
Well quick range report, it shot like crap. It worked well in my SSG 3000 so I thought it would work well in my XCR-M.

On the plus side you don't have to worry too much if you lose your brass.
