I've had a few come through my hands... Have one small frame now, it's in 38-45... definitely doesn't have that nice of a buttplate - probably a latter replacement.

No idea who grabbed the one at Switzer's but I seem to recall the location was showing as somewhere in Canada so it's not leaving the country yet, you may see it again.

I believe it was Ontario, but like I said before, computers & the sticks don't always agree.

I'm pretty rural, and I must say Starlink has been great for me in that regard.

We have line of sight system here, but fiber optics has started to roll into the neighborhood this year. I just miss going to actual auctions & seeing old buddies & sometimes trying to outbid them LOL! Switzer's use to be fun, even if you didn't buy anything. Good people. Food & coffee was good enough to sick around & not miss anything. Heck if they had a liquor license I bet ya it would have been a weekend event with record sales LOL! I wonder if they'll ever open up the auction house again?

Not much to brag about (top rifle obviously) - both here are in need of a restoration. Burgess likely going first.

Those are two gorgeous pieces! Who will do the restorations? Or are you doing them yourself? Waiting to see what that Whitney-Kennedy I picked up actually looks like, but the intension is to get it to a at least shooting condition. Trying to figure out why & how they put a saddle ring in the forearm will be a fun study LOL!

I’ve got a large frame Cal 45 (45-85 perhaps?) that I purchased decades ago with a missing lever. I had thought that I’d someday make (or find - ha!) the needed parts but I haven’t got there yet. I’ll try to post a pic or two over the holidays.

Jamieson’s books have a lot of interesting photos and drawings as well as being one of the few sources of information regarding Bullards. And authored by a Canadian to boot!
