any jericho / baby eagle owners here?

The guy I go to the range with most times has one. Not stainless, but a well made gun. My only complaint is as the others mention, the slide safety. I have to really kink my thumb up to use it. For a range gun, it is perfect, but I have issues with decocking safeties the few times I compete. First shot being double action throws me for a loop as I am used to using a CZ shadow or Tac Sport. Shadow and baby eagle are very similar, they just look different cosmetically. If you can put your hands on both weapons. Simulate loading, racking, safetying then holstering, then draw and unsafety and shoot. The CZ just feels more natural to me. From a bench, shooting paper. both guns are amazing.

I got over the slide safety by my 2nd trip to the range nd dont even notice it anymore, wicked gun.

Yep, you can adapt to anything if it is your main gun. Truth be told I never use a safety unless I am competing or holstering. what's the point from a bench since the gun should never have bullets in it if it isn't being pointed at a target.

My 9mm see's 300 rounds every trip to the range then the rest come out.
People arent fans cause there isnt plenty of aftermarket parts which i could care less, it performs so well no need to change anything.
Once i get the chrome one home im about to have 2 two tone guns, imma swap slides

She is home gentlemen

fine looking shooters. from the side it looks quite near my CZs. just the shape of the muzzle gives it away. I have always been a fan of stainless guns, but the black Jericho my buddy has looks and feels nice.

I have one Jericho in 45 ACP and like it very much.
Weight is not a problem with that all-steel pistol; it just helps staying on target.
I think its gravity center is even lower in the hand than a 1911.
The only complaint I have is I just can't persuade IMI Defense to get a proper polymer holster for it like this one:
http://www.zahal.org/products/imi-z1300-polymer-holster-for-jericho-941-fl?path_parent=218389
They only manufacture them in .40S&W and 9mm. and that's too bad. Oh well, maybe someday...
PP.

Never knew the 45 didnt fit that holster

Hi

I have owned them in 9mm and .45ACP. I believe Tanfoglio is under contract to make these (or most of it) for IWI. These are fantastic guns. The Tanfoglio Combat is essentially the same gun (some minor differences ie grip panels). You can pick them up at Freedom Ventures for about $530 plus tx.

I am seriously considering getting one in (i believe) satin finish. Saw one at my local shop and now I kind of need it (lol).

I got 9ne of the L models from Sean in .40. This is basically a small frame like the combat...but with fully adjustable sights, front cocking serrations...great deal imho.
