Any love for 32 calibre?

I load 71 grain .312 diameter .32ACP RN plated projectiles into Starline 7.62x25 brass on top of 5.5 grains of Bullseye. My TT33 LOVES it. Groups real nice, BIG boom on the firing line, big fireball. Haven't chrono'd it, but I bet those little suckers are moving... be interesting to see what the terminal ballistics would be.

Some of the American bullseye shooters are loading .32 ACP with a 60 grain bullet and getting sub 1 1/2" groups at 50 yards from a rest.

Better accuracy than the more popular (for now) .32 S&W Long.

Yeah I've been following the discussions of the 32 ACP on Targettalk. It's tempting to try it now that the Canadian Pardini dealer has 32 ACP conversion kits available. It would be a labour of love though with casting those little bullets or scrambling to find a supply of Hornady 60 gr jacketed. Esp since ISSF or NRA Bullseye is something that requires regular practice and large amounts of ammo to maintain decent scores.

there's a nutter that goes by fucha looking for an 1882.

I posted my recipe on the Swiss forum. Stock up on 32-20 brass.

Also, to correct a comment above, the reason for bullets getting stuck in bores on these fine revolvers has more to do with using FMJs and low powder charges. As with anything Swiss, they're over-engineered, and as such, my loads emulate the factory Fiocchi stuff that is sadly now discontinued.

.32 acp.....

Personally, of the .32ACP's I like the Colt M1903 and Walther PP autos.

NAA.

.32 S&W Long is the favoured round for Olympic and International Shooting Union/ISS bullseye shooters everywhere, not just in Europe. Most non-prohibited .32's are such high end target pistols. Unless a .32 calibre handgun is on the 'exempted by name' list or is a real antique(can't use .32 Short Colt, .32 Long Colt, .32 Smith and Wesson, .32 Smith and Wesson Long or .32‑20 Winchester), it's too evil for most to own.
