Hey guys~I'm interested in getting my new 795 tuned a little. Specifically, the trigger pull lightened. Anybody here have any experience doing that? Anybody who has done several with success? If so, please message me! :) If it's an easy enough process, please chime-in on what you did.

I had someone "do" my other 795 years ago...but my new 795SS could use the same TLC. Can't remember who did the other one..

Being that your also a 795 fan I'm sure you've already seen these vids but I'll post anyways

^thanks! Yes, saw them before I even owned a 795...but now that I own 2, I just watched them all. :) Looks like something I could take on, thanks for posting.

I used the "McCarbo" spring kit on my Marlin 60. Cut the trigger weight in half. Nice kit.
He also sells a 795 kit. Just Google "McCarbo".

I just put a dip trigger guard and trigger on my m60 and made the trigger so much nicer. Was no more 2 stage trigger and no more over travel either. Plus its not plastic

a lot of good videos on you tube, I see someone already posted a link, but I can add the info is very good and should get you where you want to be. a fairly easy rifle to tinker with and improve, its a pretty good tack driver so its worth the time and effort, love mine, especially now, get you some 25 rd mags from promag if you don't already have them, hical sells them
