have to agree with you on this one. My initial reply to this thread was again DELETED so for the sake of
democracy and free speech I feel completed to post my opinion again.
Fred who initially posted this is a business owner from Trenton. A town that relies to a large part on the armed
forces and their families. So I will take a quick guess and say that the poster is a Conservative supporter and
hence will have you watch this video in the hope of getting more support for Mr Harper which is what the video
asks you to do support and vote for Mr Harper.
It uses the same fear mongering which has been used by neo Conservatives in the USA with some success
and is the style copied by Mr Harper.
At present with the mess caused by Wall Street, the drop in World Markets, peoples pensions and RSP,s
do you really believe that ANY incoming Government in Canada, is going to worry about banning guns or
that really being a priority, I think not.
If Liberals wanted guns banned they would have been banned when the Liberals were in power for 11 years
and had huge majority governments. They did not ban guns, but consulted with all stakeholders across this
Country including farmers, target shooters, hunters, police services, and came up with what we have today.
Maybe you guys should consider WHAT THE LIBERALS could have done to your guns, instead of what was
done. So you have to pass a few tests and register your guns.BIG DEAL. People register all sorts of stuff
HECK yesterday I registered my new furnace.
The video is clearly a plug for Mr Harper who probably is desperate now as he sees not only a Majority slip
away but maybe his job?
People in Canada are not stupid and know that Mr Harper broke fully 50% of his election promises.Included
in these Income Trusts where he shafted the pensioners. Equalization payments where he shafted the people
in Saskatchewan, Oil Revenue Promises where he shafted the people in NFLD and Lab and Danny Williams.
He also shafted the people in Quebec over Arts funding, the people of Ontario were shafted when Mr Flaherty
told the World not to invest in Ontario. Then he thinks he will get a majority, is he kidding.
