I don't consider any of them an expense. They are investments. I don't think there are any there that are not worth at least what I paid for them. You do have to worry about a crash like the one that occurred back in 2008, but that is when you buy, not sell. I picked up my Piat for $1800 at that time. Prior to that they were going for over 3K. I believe they are back to that value now.
No, it just will happen sometime. Just wait for the market to dip, and something will come along. I imagine there were some pretty good deals in 2008, when the stock market fell through due to the housing issues in the States.

It's not that things are out of my financial grasp, it's that there are other priorities ahead of a few milsurps I'd love to have. House needs a new front porch and new wood siding on two sides plus a full exterior paint job. So that comes before a few rifles I'd love to have in my possession unfortunatly.
