Hi All,

My MH is en route to me...... it's been expedited so much that I got caught with my pants down and no ammo!!!! Dammit!!!

I've done some looking and Redding has small base versions of their type S full length dies in a few calibers - .223, 6mmBR, 6mmPPC, and .308.

I'm going to do the body/FL/seater for now, but I'd like to get a combo die.

I emailed, and for an estimated 177USD they can make us ones in whatever caliber we need.

This would save re-working he brass with the small base body die, and the FL bushing, and also save us a step at the reloading bench.

Please let me know if any of you are interested. Mine will be in .260rem.

Shaun and Dustin are looking into ATRS carrying them, but that may take a bit of time.

I'm told lead time is up to 16 weeks.

Share your thoughts in the thread, but if you want me to add you to the list for a custom die please PM me with the details and I'll see what I can organize.

-Jeremy.

You can get RCBS small base resized dies at some of the site sponsors for half that price. Think I paid $69 for my .308 and .223. .270 was just over $70 at P & D. 7mm RM I found in Lloydminster for under $80

I'm aware.

These are custom made type-s bushing small base dies that I'm talking about, not just regular body dies.

Sorry Gunner. Even though I reload, I guess I'm not serious enough about it, cause I don't know what a type-s bushing small base die is. Looks like I got some reading/research to do.

No apologies!!! This time 3 years ago I didn't know either

Small base means the die sizes the full length of the case, and gives the base a tiny bit more of a squeeze to function better in semi auto guns.

The bushing dies allow you to choose how much squeeze you want the neck of your cartridge to hold the bullet with. They can be full length or neck only. They can deprime the case too.

These dies are available separately, but in an ideal world it'd be an all in one solution, hence the custom request.
