This may have been asked a hundred times before, but I have a real lust going on for a K31, and I was wondering if there are any more coming into the country with any regularity or if what we've got is it.

Calgary shooting centre is supposed to have them , when I was looking there were some at frontier firearms so I called them but sight unseen and they wouldn't tell me if I would get a walnut or beech stock so I ended up buying on EE maybe paid a little more but had photos and disclosure from seller . I didn't like sight unseen as I wanted a nicer one

If you are looking for a shooter, you should be aware that even the ones that exhibit considerable wear and use, are generally well taken care of insofar as the action and barrels are concerned and very likely still shoot quite well.

I picked one up from CSC after calling and emailing every other place I could think of, possibly a little pricier than trying your luck on the EE but I didn't have to muck around hitting refresh every 5 minutes trying to get one. The stock was more banged up than I would've liked but all the "shooty bits" function perfectly. I'd like to pick up another in the future that's more of a collector-grade one, but for one to use as much as I've used this one I'm very satisfied with what I picked up.

Very valid point. I have one with a beater stock that has a smooth action and shoots very well. I'm pretty sure it could shoot better than I'm able to shoot her.

All surplus stocks of K31's are long gone. They only are available as private purchase from individuals or at gunshows in Switzerland.Importers need a container load to make it worth while to import. In the last 6-7 years there only have been 3-4000 imported into Canada, maybe less.Compared to enfields that is only a drop in the bucket.I missed the boat when they were selling for $299.00!

Eventually they must run out. I understand the Swiss had only ~500,000 of them.
Compare this to the<17,000,000 SKS rifles.

Generally true but your numbers are a little off. We brought in 6,000 three years ago and North Sylva brought in another 800 or so. I am sure some other distributors brought some in over the last decade too.
The big numbers are not there anymore and the US and other European countries are paying a premium for the guns as they show up. We have only a small number coming in and they are much more expensive.

I saw the trend happening with these that happens with all desirable milsurps...I'm glad I bought a few that I hand picked from CSC for $250 a piece.

Good advise.

Don't pay attention to the appearance, the one pictured here was really rough looking but with a little love came up fine.
