Any new shipments or cool finds ?

I will take 5 sks over 1 of these for the same price, however i understand the allure to some folks, i just hope the retailers dont take advantage of the people who just have to have one at any price! I cannot really see a great lot being sold unless the price is reasonable, somewhere around the price of a norc AR15!

I've been asking around, and doesn't seem like anything interesting is on the horizon. Of course most of these guys are pretty tight lipped until it happens.

I was hoping for maybe if a online store got a hold of a pile of arisaka or m39 or some old M1 from Korea? Not to interested in norinco. I have had good luck at wanstalls, tradex, SFRC and westrifle also Hical for accessories. It's just time consuming to check each and every store when your on the hunt for something.

p & S Militaria also is a great place to buy online, I bought a sweet m24 from there.

WoW, the I don't wanna pay X amount of money , and it's a glorified SKS crowd is polluting threads again. Can we go one Type 81 thread without these trolls showing up.

There's a batch of unfired M39 Finnish moisen negants coming in. All have no date no make, just russian capture marks. Two of site sponsors will be selling them but only for those CGN'ers who create at least two topics per day.

I don't get it? It's not funny so it can't be a joke?

I hear that a batch of combat captured SKSs used in the Vietnam War are coming in.

LOL

fyi they are spelled "moist nuggets." Also, they are obviously PU unfired mint M39's with Russian capture marks from the Taliban during the peter pan raids against Hannibals army in 1649.

This. The utter lack of knowledge or realistic expectations in this thread is mind numbing. A product can be the same price and with our poor dollar expect a 30-40% increase in the cost. Things cost money, you don't see the value in the product at this price, we get it. The volume you ##### at will not effect the price. Stop polluting the forum go shoot and have fun or something.

I been waiting for corwin arms to get in more of those very nice sks's in. Gettin kinda tired of rifling (no pun intended) through piles of parts bin sks's. Missed the boat last time by just a couple days.

Yeah its really pathetic.

I can't believe people are saying "its just a glorified sks."

So I guess a K98 is just a glorified mosin. Also, a M1 garand must be a glorified ruger 10-22, and a Long branch Lee Enfiled sniper is just a glorified crossman bb gun.

I have a real common 1954 sks but the kicker is its like brand new compared to the more rare ones I have but I use it the most but it's in the best shape. I think I'm doing it wrong. Rare means nobody wanted them or needed them at the time. Just like a real ugly coloured corvette sure it's rare but nobody wanted it at the time in that configuration.

What you need now is a 1949 SKS... Talk about crazy prices now.

I suppose they are very rare, especially in all original configuration. I think 750-1200 is the range now, more if it's reall nice, but watch it go even higher. Some guys on Gunbroker bid one up to over 6000 USD... And I've heard of them going for even more :/

But prices aside, it's a really nice gun to add to any collection.
