Any news on the HK P30L?

I thought they were already being put out in Europe, tho i could be wrong. (mabey its that they WILL be distrbuted in Europe)

I would look for the HK45 to arrive before the P30 makes it here (since the HK45 is already in production)

Not to be a downer, but... probably give it at least a year for one of these to show up at your Canadian dealer. Very possibly much more than that. Making and distributing guns which jive with Canadian gun laws in not much of a priority for anyone in the gun business. Once all the American dealers have their HK45's, HK45C's, and P30's... then maybe the yanks will start getting their P30L's... and then it will be our time after that. Don't hold your breath.

Actually Wolverine told me they have HK45s coming this month .. or soon after.. i don't expect the P30s to be far behind. I can't wait to grab a HK45 at a reasonable price!!

I was thinking a few months, maximum... but a year or more? No way.

I don't think the P30L has been released yet. At least, it's not shown on HK's website.

Exactly... what he said... It's only on one of the European versions of the site - the "Hunting and Sporting" site:

http://www.heckler-kochjs.de/default.php

"Products" - "Pistols" - "P30L"

Until it shows up on the U.S. website, catalog, ads in gun mags, etc. Don't hold your breath. And remember... P30 and P30L is not the same thing. Just because the ads for the P30 are out in the States doesn't mean the P30L is necessarily coming along right behind it. It is a different slide among other things.

Well, a man can dream. :)

No.. I hear you. I want one too. I just don't like to see people getting really amped up about a new gun, and then 6 months down the road somebody brings the thread back from the dead - 5 more posts are added, then another six months later somebody does the same. How long did we wait for the P2000? 5-6 years. It's hard enough being a gun owner in this country without building up our own hopes and then having them dashed over and over. I'm not even sure that P30L is going to be marketed to the N. American market. Right now we have the USP series of guns. The ones with match triggers are really good guns. I say stick with that until something changes. There is already like a half dozen posts about the imminent arrival of the P30L - going back about a year. Let's not turn this into another ".22LR MP5 - No Not Rhineland!"
