yes, the new arrival are blued , not painted bluish color .

the paint is durable but the color didnt turn all of us on , some changed the color , i was actually think of doing the same but now i dont have to .

If same as SG-43 or some other pre - 1946 type you're good to go for any amount.

We never quote a final price until we are ready to put them out on the market for fear of some unforseen issue....
If we say $1,995.oo and end up charging $1,996.oo we will get tons of e mail and faxes accusing us of being thieves, misleading the public, etc, etc....
