This year I have finally took the plunge and got myself set up with a hunting lisence and entered the draws. As luck would have it I got drawn for anterless mule and whitetail in WMU 144. I was wondering if there is anyone hunting the same area this fall who would like to take me out and show me the ropes.
I have been doing my research but it just can't compare to hands on learning. If I am fortunate enough to take a deer I would feel much more confident with someone to show me the finer points of things like field dressing, quartering, deboning etc.
I am a complete hunting newbie but I bring alot of enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge to the table. I am also young and in good shape so I have no problem carrying more than my fair share of the load.
Unfortunately I am in university this fall so I have limited time to get out into the field, that's why I really want to make it count. If anyone is interested and willing shoot me a pm and hopefully we can get something worked out. Thanks alot.
