Yes, we have likely met somewhere down the line. Have known George Leary since he was 10 or 11. Learned how to shoot Skeet at his parents farm/Honey Locust Gun Club, where George lived, near Gormley, ON.
Last I knew, around 2000, George was working for a computer tech firm out of Newmarket, ON, where he was living with his own family.
I was pretty certain T.I.T.S. had two ISSF set-ups for the Pan Am Games and they may well have brought in Laport traps for the event. The last I shot International there was probably 1998+/-, and was in the old trench setting the 15 traps for angle and distance with Paul Shaw. I'm guessing interest faded sometime after that and the trench fell into disuse. Much the same transpired with their Sporting Clays set-up. Last I saw was that their big tower, down by the pond, had been converted to a 5-Stand set-up. (Lack of member interest to run the facilities)
