Built upon the Accuracy International Chassis System's time-proven design, the AICS AX provides the same degree of ergonomic freedom and modularity as the AX rifle, for users of the Remington 700. Available for both short and long action Remington actions, the AICS AX enables a wide variety of potential rifle configurations and uses.
Features include either a 16" or 13" free-floating forend tube with eight sides of Picatinny accessory rail attachment points, replaceable pistol grip backstraps, folding stock, adjustable cheekpiece and buttpad, rear underside Picatinny rail, cut away magazine well, and multiple sling attachment points. The newly re-designed rear spike/monopod featuring both fine and coarse elevation adjustments is also available as an optional upgrade.
Short action AX AICS utilize standard 5 or 10 round AICS magazines. Long action AX AICS use 5 round single-stack magazines.
Available in Black, Green, and Dark Earth stocksides.
