any one shooting a Ruger 96 in .22/

I finally got time to sight in my 96 with federal champions 40 gr solids at 20 yards using a 3x9 bushnell with A/O and was happy with the results a ragged hole. So off grouse hunting with it the next day and was happy with how well it functioned and of course the grouse turned out so was able to bring a bunch home. It is a sweet little lever action with a short stroke, very reliable and no feeding problems at all.

It will even take the 25 rd mags.

Anyone else using one and how have you liked yours?

I bought one for my grand-daughter and will keep it in my locker until she is legally old enough to own it. I'm not sure why there aren't more folks with one, its a really nice gun. Try getting 25 rounds in any tube magazine. Mine is every bit as accurate as my toyed with, 10/22, and sports William's Firesights as well as 4X scope.
