Anyone try one of these out?, are they as gimmaky as they look? Long story short I bought one the other day on a mossberg 500 three barrel gun, it was put together incorrectly but I got it figured out it feeds and ejects now, I was going to put the tube mag back on but it is dented so that's not happening right away, the whole kit and caboodle came with the 28" barrel, 24"rifled barrel, and 18" and came with a set of houge grip and forestock plus the ones that came on the factory gun.
So what I was wondering is if it's worth keeping it on there for a bit or try and source/fix if possible the tube mag, do they run reliably? It seems unseasonably heavy compared to my model 88, but I will be using the barrels between the both of them depending on what I'm doing, I didn't pay what this fellow had into it all so I'm already ahead I guess....
