Any one have something along these lines for hunting? Im looking at picking one up but want to find a few other options and prices before I commit to one. Below is a stock photo, here is the link to the rest of the photos. https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1/ProductID/37

That would be a lot easier using that carrying my binos, range finder, wallet(with tags+pal), cell, knife, radio, some times gps.

it has TWO comparments these photos show a set up with both compartments in use.

No, and I would never consider it.
I travel light and if I need a small pack I use a single strap canvas type packsack carried under the arm.
Chest pack would get in the way of fast hunting action

Lol fanny pack too nerd?! So here's a boobie bag! Lol. I used a fanny pack Blaze orange, but since it slides down too much I sling it across my back.

Boobie bag maybe better, but man would I ever lean over to see my..... Feet.

Messenger style would be easier to on/off, access, and be more flexible. That one looks kinda cool though. But I want most of my gear on / in / around my waist area, or bagged on my hip. where I can one hand access it.

That pack looks like it will just get in the way. A small back pack is all I carry and as well I carry my tags, licenses etc in my wallet at all times even if I'm not hunting.

Not for the far-sighted.

I can imagine the frustration of trying to fish things out of it, cross-eyed, inches from my face.

I use a neoprene shotgun bandolier belt. It’s stretchy and I can tuck various items in each shell pouch (matches, water tablets, first aid, tinder, game seal, batteries... even a small back-up gps) Everything else goes in my pockets.

Ive used one the last two seasons for both bow and rifle season and will never go without again. Carry my rangefinder, binos, flashlight, tags, knife etc. All can be accessed with one hand and it’s tight to your body, never in the way.

It’s nice to be able to drop your pack for a stalk and have everything you need on your chest.

There are much better options than what you’ve shown in my opinion. Kuiu, badlands, mystery ranch, marsupial, fha. I’ve tried a few and the Alaska guide creations one is my favourite. I’ve got the Alaska Classic with the max pocket.

I've been using one of the hunting fanny packs, but it's got a long strap, so i can either wear it around my belt, or usually i will loosen the strap out and wear it over one shoulder kind of like a messenger bag. I'm also known for getting the vest with the most amount of pockets i can find and have everything i need in my vest as much as possible.

That's awesome! I knew there had to be other brands out there. I will check those ones out thank you!

I have a Bino pouch too. Nothing fancy, but it does the trick. My big thing was the binos - I found without a pouch they swung around too much, particularly when climbing over downed trees and stuff. Any additional stuff that fits is just a bonus. Currently, I have a very cheap one, was $12 at Princess Auto (http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=76110&cat=53218&ap=2)

I plan to upgrade in the future. Probably not until I upgrade my optics though, my current pair of binos is quite small (10x30 Leupolds) so I can fit some other stuff in my pouch but if I get bigger binos then they'll take up the whole pouch on their own at which point I"ll want a bigger pouch to fit other stuff in too.

^Good cheap alternative there suther.

I searched up a bunch of those names brands Tyler and found some interesting things. Nothing that Im in love with, great options though if I were only wanting binos and range finder the Kuiu and marsupial have some good quality and price looking set ups. Both name brands I had no idea where out there since non of my local shops carry them. Its a toss between the Alaska classic and the hill people for me. I like the more discreet option of the hill people plus the molle. Although the Alaska is nice as well and the molle is not an issue with the lots of pockets and space.

Ohh the possibilities!

I use the Alaskan guide creations pouch as well. Keeps all of my hunting essentials close at hand and secure. Don't even realize it's on most of the time and have never once felt that it was in the way.

My binoculars are around my neck, where they're handy. If I want them I usually don't have time to fiddle around digging them out. Knife is on my belt. Everything else you've mentioned plus a fire starter goes in my pockets, either pants, jacket or orange vest. Basically everything I need to survive a night in the bush or find my way out is on my person, not in a bag where it can get separated from me. Spare clothes, snacks, water, goes in a day pack.

That chest rig looks like a pita.
