What are you thoughts on the SSG 3000 in 308?
I have two now and out of the box I have found them to be extremely accurate.
For those who use the Sig as there primary firearm, what are some of the loads or mods you done.
Right now I'm shooting a 175 gr Sierra green tip with 44.5 gr of varget out as far as the 1.023 kms

I have one, patrol 24", shoots great in 308, 42.1 4064 and 175smk.
I also picked up a 6.5x47 benchmark barrel/adapter which local 'smith put together for me, and I did switch them around for a bit initially (3 screws to change), but now just stick with the x47. Very very accurate with 130 hybrids.
Am waiting for a GRS stock to pop up on EE....

I have a german one with 24” barrel in a grs bolthorn stock. She rly likes FGM 168gr. My favorite/ most confortable rife to shoot by far.

Would love to pick up a 6.5 tube for mine. Gun shops in Norway have every imaginable configuration but can't export.

Wonderful to shoot in the 308 , just would love to try the 6.5.

I have one in the inexpensive stock, it's a tack driver, here a target from a 100 metres with Federal GMM 168 gr over the sandbags.

I know a smith that's doing pre-fits for them right here in Alberta. He can do them in any caliber, barrel profile and can flute them too, if you like.
Here's a pic of one he recently did.

Gary at bighorn has the SSG barrel adapters - you then thread barrel (any short action caliber) into adapter, then 3-4 min to change.
