The CFC, Ottawa, CFO, RCMP, etc, don't use "disks", they have a live, online, 100% up to the second up to date RCMP FRT database. This online version is now available to some verifiers and firearm retailers. Trust me, I was talking with all of them today and was asking them some hard questions.
