any p90's in country?

There are FN P90s in country but they are full-auto. How many Dewats do you want? No semi's and probably never will be in canada, there was a couple other threads on this a while back.

wheil i was tslking CA or Sa as a fa p90 is too new to be a 12.2 gun (and i dont have 12.2)

I dont care about movie guns or leo guns as I cannot own those

As some of you know I work with Longshot in the film biz ,our p90s came from Herstal not from fnusa, so I think it would be possible to get them directly from europe, how ever it did take over 2 years to get them because herstal realy doen't care about small orders(less the goverments)
2.the p90 cannot fire (without a stock it is a true bullpup)
So if someone is willing to try(and wait ) I don't see why it would not be possible to get out of europe.

I don"t own the company I just work there (and yes it is a cool job),but I do know there were a lot of conditions attached to us getting the p90's even though we have all of the appropriate licences. So I think the best way to go would be for someone to contact Questar and see if they could get one form a dealer in europe, this probobly would not be the cheapest way but I think it would be the easiest(and then we hope the gun doesn't get classified as prohib because the powers that be decide they don"t like it because it looks evil or some other reason)

hornady is manufacturing stuff for it.. I know it is suppose to be alot tamer so it most likey will not ap especially since it is available in hollowpoint.

read that. Just because it's a bullpup rifle doesn't class it as a prohib by default. Yes, the AUG and L85 and probbly a few others are prohibs, but that's because the pinheaded fools that classed them as such don't know their bung hole from a pot hole. They fell into the same "Oh, this is evil scary looking" like the Kalashnikov rifles.

It's aftermarket stocks that they were trying to crack down on.

But yeah, until someone figures out a way to get a PS90 into Canada without having to deal with FNUSA, You'll only be able to see them on SG1 and Atlantis :(

The L85 is not a named prohibited firearm, I have an L98A1 registered as a non-restricted firearm (because it's manually operated, otherwise it would be restricted because of the length). I suspect all the L85A1s in Canada are 12(3) though.

Anyway, as for the P90, they're made in Belgium, and the PS90 sold in the US has a goofy 16-inch barrel, so why bother importing them from the US? I would have thought the simplest method would be to buy some from a dealer in Europe (assuming he can get them, I've seen full auto P90s in Switzerland).

There is no type of 5.7x28mm approved for import into Canada (yet). No-one has applied for import approval, based on my lengthy discussion with the CFC about it. But that was a few months ago.

under what rules can they decide the ps90 is prohib?

Your guess is as good as mine .... Might have to do with the receiver itself not being "different enough" to the FA variety, even though I can find no such requirement in the law itself.

I suspect the listing for the PS90 as a CA is a mistake. The FRT is full of them. In one of my sets of FRT discs it lists one brand of AR 15 as Non restricted.
