Any particular reason behind the inflated sale prices of vz/CZ's on the EE?

I thought the pricey ones were because people (me included )were putting on expensive goodies and wanting their money back
I do know it's easy to spend $500 on extras if the buyer happens to want the same upgrades so would that be inflated ? I see lots of different types of guns going for a price that is more than I would expect to pay . supply and demand sucks when I'm on the wrong side

One thing you can't forget as it will cost you $1.38 to buy $1 US and most things trade in US $.

Maybe someone started a "VZ58 will be banned" thread again and there is panic buying/selling and such. Mine is Restricted so if they want it, they can come pry it from my hands.

Wolverine priced their last shipment (that's been held) at a high price and people lined up to buy them... people just want them. With the Type 81 missing in action, 958 gonzo and whatever Westrifle is trying to do... there really aren't that many options on the market, today - to meet the demand.

I haven't read through this entire thread, but judging by YouTube, the Americans are also beginning to discover this rifle and seems many are liking it (that means even more increased demand); although, AK's and AR's still rule down south.
 
Hate to thread hijack, but did the reclassification of Swiss Arms and CZ858's get overturned? Is this having an affect on prices?
 
Read some rumours today... I suspect prices will come down quite a bit as some will feel they'll have a paperweight again. AR/VZ58 pattern rifles have been on their hit list for quite a while now.

We need to send a message right to the federal Government that we will not obey any new law that comes out that is an attack on us.
If I were you folks I would be buying every AR, CZ 858, CX9, and beowulf mag I could find.
I need you ladies and gents to start laying down ideas for a plan of attack now! (no not gun shooting)
If you have a snotty comment don't put it on here I need ideas. We need a movement like the native's idle no more.
Like I said the gun Orgs aren't on the hill doing frig all. We here today need to get brave and do something before we have no choice.

Goodale Confirms Plan for New Gun Laws, Advisory Committee

Canadian Minister of Public Safety Ralph Goodale said he’s preparing new gun laws and will overhaul an advisory committee, reiterating last year’s campaign pledges by the Liberal-led government.

“Public Safety Canada is developing the detailed plan needed to deliver on our commitments to increase gun safety and reduce gun violence,” Goodale told employees today in a letter published on the ministry’s website. “We will soon be assisted by a reconstituted Firearms Advisory Committee including expertise from law enforcement, public health and women’s groups along with agriculture, hunting and recreation.”

Today is the anniversary of the 1989 massacre at the École Polytechnique in Montreal. A male student shot 24 women, killing 14. He also shot and injured four men, and shot and killed himself.

Mine sold in under a week for 1,000$, I had about 20 PM's. They will probably sell for more then that too soon.

With 12% tax''s added to 1300$ plus shipping it saved someone 500$. Seems like a killer deal to me.

You could have gotten more, I suspect. I see asking prices from $1100-1600 on there right now.
