Any place that has the Ruger PCC in stock?

J just be careful with the stretching and only do it to one mag until you are sure the effect is going to last beyond one range visit. I am off this PM to see how the mags run with the ajustmenty you mentioned. I think it will work l.onger than some have suggested. We shall see.

The OP is looking for the one with the aluminum mlok handguard and the adjustable stock. Those seem to be sold out in many places (and run about $1300-$1400 now) as opposed to Cabela's one with the regular stock and no handguard version which is under $1000 and a few retailers stock the regular version.

I missed that part. The Mloc forearm looks neat but after holding one of our members I think, as I mentioned before, the carbine is way to front heavy. For the life of me, I can't imagine hanging say a light, laser and bi-pod on the gun. Or...having to carry it on the trail. REven the Standard version of the gun is heavy and heavier than it needs to be. I like mine but it might go with me on a Quad but carrying it for any length of time...no thanks not as long as there are other options and there are.

I bought a base model and the backpacker separate. It came to about that price all in. But i now have an extra OEM stock (Not sure ill ever use it though)

I do really like it in the backpacker configuration!!

I agree the backpacker stock is a good match and it's nice to have the option of getting it right off the bat, I wouldn't be surprised if down the road Ruger works out some better pricing with Magpul, but anyone interested should probably just buck up now.

What is the current status of the PCC?

Legal status wise, still non-restricted, we can still buy. Since the G46 amendment got pulled it (PC Carbine) is no longer (at present) a threat to be banned, but we can be absolutely certain the Liberals are not retreating but trying to find another way to target semi autos like the PC Carbine, once again. It's always a good time to buy, but given the political climate, it's especially a good time now. Given its reliability I don't think anyone can go wrong with the PC Carbine.
