Any practical way to bump .308" dia. bullets up to .311"?

I have a CZ527 7.62x39, and I'm frustrated by the lack of variety and ballistically poor bullets available in .311". I do shoot .308" bullets out of it, but lose velocity vs. the same weight .311" bullet. Any practical way to bump the diameter of .308" bullets up? I'm especially interested in the 110gr V-Max.

Have you "slugged" your bore?

Try raising the powder charge slightly with the .308 bullets before you spend wads of money. Less bore contact means lower pressures.

The problem might be that you don't have enough bearing area on the bullets you've chosen so far.

You might be very pleasently surprised.

I (and most people I know) shoot 180-200gr .308 in .303(.311-.314) fairly often.

150gr sometimes doesn't stabilize.
