Any PRS shooters coat their bullets with HBN or something similar?

People seem to really like the DTAC's - I know a bunch of people that shoot them with great success. The only negative I hear about DTAC's is that sometimes they can be hard to get.

I shot Dtacs out or my 6XC and they were great, 10 thou of the lands and GTG - would like to try in my BR but they are too hard to find to just play around with.

See no point in coating bullets but that is me.

So slightly off topic, but you guys running 4831sc in the 6 Creed, how much longer does the barrel last than H4350? Did you burn one barrel and switch powders on the new barrel?

I'm shooting Berger 105 Hybrid, as Kevin probably knows.

I would also be interested in any input people may have about this?

Keep in mind that my data is coming from shooting match exclusively.

My first 6x47 barrel was running H4350 exclusively with 105 at 3004 fps. Retired it at a 1045 rounds as throat was toasted and I was seeing increase in SD/ES and velocity drop. I still shot it another 200 rounds on critters. Within the first 300 rounds the troat was 0.045 longer. At the end my throat had grow 0.157 inch.

Second barrel shot with H4831SC only with 105 hybrid at 3050 fps. That barrel is the "same" as the first one. I always order barrels 3 at the time and they are following each other in number.
Got 1465 rounds. Never seen an once of copper in it and shot good until the end. I retired it after seeing to many heat cracks. Minimal erosion withing the first 500 rounds( 0.013) and died at 0.127 inch.
