Any ranges around Calgary with good selection?

My RPAL should be arriving very shortly and I am a member at TSE in Calgary. Unfortunately, their pistol rental selection is quite poor, and I would like to try before I buy.

I am mostly interested in trying a CZ SP-01 Shadow, and comparing it to a Sig 226 9mm. I have narrowed it down to those two. TSE has an old beat up Sig with 2 million rounds through it and a welded slide, and no CZ product.

Does anyone know of a place that has a CZ as a range gun that isn't really far away? I'd rather not drive all the way to Edmonton or something like that, but I really don't know how many ranges are around.

I just want to put a couple clips through it before I buy something because with the few guns I have already tried, even some of the best guns on paper didn't feel right to me.

TSE is the only range around Calgary that will rent / loan handguns as far as I know. I think the next closest place is Wild West in Edmonton.

yep, but keep in mind most of TSE guns have at least 100,000 rounds plus through them so they are pretty beat up. They do have a p226 in stainless, keep in mind it weights half the amount if it isnt stainless. No shadows.

Yeah I actually shot the stainless one they had, I still thought it was pretty good but didn't know it weighed double that of a regular black one. I imagine that contributed to it having a very low felt recoil, which was one of the reasons I liked it.

Everything I read about the CZ shadow suggests it's excellent, recommendations from other CGN members suggest it's excellent, it felt good in my hand and the price is right. I just can't bring myself to buy without trying haha.
