Any reason to not like a Browning X-Bolt?

Mags are polymer like the tikka but seem beefier. Triggers are quite nice. The one I had didn't need to be adjusted for hunting. If I had to guess it would be about 3-3.5lb creep free.

I like em, mine is supposed to be a micro hunter in 308. It's light weight and shoots straight.
Probably die still owning it. Drew first blood with it last fall.
Sticker fell off the barrel while hunting, so don't bug me about it still being on.

Absolutely love my x-bolt hunter on .270 topped with a Nikon pro staff 5 2.5-10x40. Fits me the best of all my rifles, shoots straight and just feels great. The trigger is very nice and is by far my favourite go-too rifle.

I had an Xbolt stainless in .223 and it was a decent rifle. If you plan on doing any mods to your hunting rifle the Xbolt is a poor choice. Not much in options for stocks, triggers ect... I like the designs and look, they look sleek and modern. The dura touch stock was nice. Not a fan of the cheap pot metal they used but it is what it is.

Cheers!!

The fit an finish is typical of Browning firearms, in that it is quite good. On the other hand, the design uses way more parts than are necessary, so although I own several Browning shotguns, I will not own their current rifles.

I don't care for the cheap plastic rotary mags of the Xbolt....very similar to the Ruger American mags, not worth $10 but retail for $50+

is it the plastic you don't like? or the rotary design......I wasn't a fun of the plastic at first, but they rubbed off on me, I like them now....wsm and no issue feeding or loading

The Xbolt has definitely caught my eye over the last year or so. Currently my scoped rifle is a Tikka T3 stainless 30-06 but I have really been thinking about switching things up for a Xbolt lately. Both rifles are tack drivers so I don't think I can go wrong with either one. I have never been a fan of the Tikka synthetic stock and the Browning stocks are nicer IMO.
