Any Rem700 experts that can date my barrel/action based off this poor stamping?

Never tried scanning the QR code myself but the barrel will be stamped with a date code. RR receivers have been around some time now.

Unless you have to know the month, the second character is "M"
Going through the alphabet one letter at a time and missing "I", my best guess is 2017.

They skipped I in 1961 , but then used it in 1976. I think Remington realized that if they used up letters they had skipped they could start at A in 1980. So 76 77 78 and 79 were I O Q and V.

From 1980 they used all 26 letters, 2005 being Z

I dont know how they are doing it these days.

Horseman thanks for the insight, I didn't think it was that recent! Out of BLACKPOWDERX I think the first might be an L, I think the second might be an M, or possibly an N. So 2018/2019 maybe Feb. I bought the setup for the chassis mainly, but jeez I can't believe the rough action though on something so recent. I was considering moving to a Bergara B14 (r700 compatible) just to have something that feels a bit nicer!
