Any reviews/experience on new Savage A22 and B22 Precision?

As the subject says...

I note Savage has a small mail-in rebate right now and was wondering if anyone had experience with either of these rifles (or the new minimalist) and could comment on if they are worth the money?

I fondled one in store and was a bit disappointed that the LOP was adjusted via spacers instead of via a "slide" and the quality "feel" was a little less than a similarly priced T1X but significantly better than a regular savage or ruger.

Thanks

David
PS
The minimalist was LIGHT and really swung/pointed well for me - could see this as a great grouse/rabbit gun - however it "rattled" a bit and seemed low build quality for price.

I have the B22 FVSR, after 5000+ rounds I've got lots of FTE and FTF. If it wasn't cheap and accurate, it would not have been worth it for me. On the upside, it turned me into an amateur gunsmith.

I have the b22 precision and I love it. I have had fail to extract issues, but only with CCI greentag. Everything else has functioned perfect. The mag was stiff but I left it loaded for a day and now it is much nicer and I find it easy to load. I have a thread back a page that has pictures of groups I have been getting so far, I haven't had a day above freezing really to test it out properly. I still have close to 500 rounds through it already. CCI SV has been doing well for me.
I did order a new extractor from Savage, which they sent me 2 complete kits. I have changed the spring, ejector and extractor but haven't been to the range since. I more just changed it cause I could, not cause I needed too.

I have an A22 and it measures up to my hot rodded 10/22 and my wife's 597.

Nice steel receiver. The rear cap that holds the main spring is a bit flimsy but works. The rest is solid. I have polished the snot out of the trigger and tried different springs and it is ok at best.

I just got a B22 precision with the MDT stock. Took it out for the first time and had some failure to eject. I cleaned the chamber and that seemed to help. i took it back home and added a second spring clip on the bolt, like I did on my MKII. I used an old MKII spring I had lying around. Today it worked perfectly every shot. The gun seems acurate but I need to try more types of amunition.

How did you add the second spring clip? Did you have to make the cutout bigger on the second spring? I was looking at doing this on mine but had a very hard time getting the second spring on and just gave up.

I have a B22 with less than 100 rounds through it. I was getting FTE 8 out 10 rounds. I emailed Savage and they are sending me an extractor, cartridge guide and spring.

I just pushed the new clip over the bolt, it just clips over the ejector, it lies over the extractor. I did the same thing with my MKII and it seems to work quite well on both rifles. If I had more time I could adjust the groove in the spring clip, but it does not seem to cause any trouble and it does not drag in the action.
