Any reviews on IBI Carbon Fiber barrels?

Looking at ordering one, any input would be great

My only experience is with a used one I bolted up on a Savage action for a friend f mine, he was making a lightweight hunting rifle.
it's in 280 AI, and is very accurate, scoping it revealed that the leade and throat are very well machined, perfect looking.
If I wanted a carbon fibre barrel I would not hesitate to buy one.

I don't often post, mostly just listen and learn. I recently had IBI rebarrel a T3 with a 24" carbon hunter in 6.5 PRC. Researching carbon wrap barrels has been a challenge. Each company seems to have their own method. I came across a number of sources that state carbon wrap barrels suffer poi shift. To me, poi shift after only a couple rounds and I'd rather buy a pencil countour steel barrel at half the price. Still, my curiosity endured. I spent some time on the phone with Ryan at IBI and he assured me that their barrels don't have poi shift. I took the chance and am very happy with the results. During load development I shot 10 two shot groups after 4 rounds to zero. I did occasionally switch to a different rifle to allow cooling but no group was over ½ moa. With retumbo, all around ¼ moa. No sign of poi shift and excellent accuracy. Next session I fired several rounds to verify drops out to 550 yds. Again, several rounds in succession shows no poi shift. Clay pigeons at 550 with regularity. Very pleased. Fit and finish is great and had it back in less than 3 months. I will probably see what it will do with 3 to 5 round groups at some point but was having too much fun banging steel and smashing rocks at distance. It now has a nice Caribou under its belt.

Cheers

I just bought one off of here for a 223 build. Hasn’t been chambered yet but appears to be high quality and good fit n finish.

I have 3 of their carbons, all 3 are pretty accurate. The last one is a m24 contour 300wsm, I ordered that barrel just after they came out with the heavier contour carbon. It shoots very well, I have shot many 5 shot groups in the .3moa range, and quite a few under 1/2 moa at 500-1000y. My goals for the carbons are not f-class or br level accuracy, more like the being able to setup the rifle (bipod/rear bag) and put 5 shots under 1moa out to 1000y including the cold bore shot.
They really have become my go to lately, I have 6 of their barrels in total. All 6 have shot well, cleaned up easy and IBI has been good on the customer service side.

I used their carbon hunter for a 7 saum build recently. I only have a few dozen rounds through it since break in, seems to shoot great so far.
