any rimfire included in the order in council

The Mossberg 715T is not on the original OIC. The real crime is that Mossberg made such a pile of crap. Laugh2

**cough** night-train ***cough**

I must have really lucked out with mine. Sure the plastic is kind of cheap feeling and I don't particularly like how the mag release works but I've got several thousand rounds through mine and it's accurate enough for fun plinking and functions well. It's been great for my kids to shoot too.

The next time anyone tells you Liberals are the fact/evidence based party, present this as one of your arguments against this proposition.

Banning straight blowback .22LR firearms because they share an aesthetic similarity with another platform is beyond ####ing retarded. It's a 10/22 (or other semi, for that matter) in a different costume.

There's no justification for any of this to begin with... but especially so when we're discussing the rimfire bans.

Jefferson,

To answer your question more broadly, yes, there are a number of 22cal rifles which are on the OIC list.

For me that will include the Armi Jager AP74......because it looks like an AR and functions like it.....I do not know of another AR 22cal copy that has all the functions of the big brother AR. Someone will likely correct me on this.....I am unsure???

Given the examples of 22cal within that OIC, it will give me ammunition to use against some Libs that told me the govt does not / will not ban my guns......especially any 22 rifle or a shotgun.

F*** them all...........I have an email from one of my Lib friends that I have not even opened yet because I do not want to write something nasty in current mood.

The kriss defiant dmr looks like an ar15 clone, and is compatible with a lot of the parts from what i have read. So stupid.

"Cars look like they could kill someone, lets ban them. Oh, wait...."

There were several .22s already banned. Mitchell M-16/22, AK 22, AP 74, Auto-Ordnance M1927 A-3, Feather AT-22, Federal XC 220, American180, Calico (M-100 ?), US Arms PMA1 (described in the order as a "modified Mossberg sporting rifle" and of course, their variants.

They believe that dressing up and acting like a female makes you a female. Based on that, this makes perfect sense.
