I have a 48, and if you have big mitts like I do - it’s a difficult pistol to shoot well.

Comparing the targets I’ve shot a magazine at with both the 17 & 21 is night and day from the 48. I’ve only taken it out 3 or so times since I bought it, so it may well tighten up over time. Granted these aren’t designed as precision guns, but nether are the 17 & 21, but that doesn’t stop me from shooting the 10 ring out at 10 yards...

I have very large hands myself. I shoot the 48 just fine but it does rub off a large patch of skin that turns into a nasty scab. I'm just waiting for a callous to develop, no sense in adjusting my grip haha...

Maybe but also since i bought a Glock 26 gen 4 in NH ( i think it's the best shooting Glock i ever owned ), it have pushed my 48 in the safe.

God my Glock 19 gen 4 from Dlask is a better shooter than the 48.

My guess would be the same spot that’s it’s running on my hand too. The web of your hand between the thumb and index finger. The 48’s bevertail is more on a downward angle then that of their full sized guns, at least in the gen 3 varieties.

I’d say the 48 is more accurate then most people kind, including myself. I may just not shoot it that well. I’d hazard a guess most people would shoot a full size better than a compact.

I just CCW with my 48 in Florida. I used an IWB holster, and it was invisible with just a plain under armour T. It’s worth the money, it’s a great shooter, love that gun. I even choose it over my G43 which I keep down there.

Where is it rubbing off skin?

I shoot all pistols with a very high grip. In the case of my 48 it rubs the right side of the web of my hand about 1/2"X1/4". It turns into quite a gross wound after several days breaking it open and mushing it up some more. I wasn't kidding about waiting for a callous, this little gun is too good to give up IMO.
