Any sign of snow geese in Eastern Ontario?

Saw some large flocks on the way back from TO today, but couldn't tell if they were Canada's or snows. Also saw more deer in the fields this trip than I've seen in years. Oh, and probably over 100 turkeys. Good sign!

Group of 3 of us got 13 this morning..... Good conditions today with the temp barely reaching the positive after a much warmer day yesterday.... Williamstown Ontario area....

Lol Phil..... I went through an unfortunate job loss that made me question some things.... I chose to take a year off and stay mostly at my "off the grid" cabin for a year and enjoy some solitude.....

Let's just say arguing about which 375 was better and whether or not my rifles would shoot into space became secondary as did my need to access the EE for guns I couldn't afford....

In regards to the story, I had the pleasure of hosting 5 other CGN folks for a snow goose hunt in 2017.....

Thread can be found here.... It was a very memorable time with some very good people.....

sorry for the loss of your job.

i do remember that post and even commented on it: and it was a lot of fun with some people i enjoy reading and exchange so let s put it that way you were in good company and had fun.

on the .375 im still wonder which one is the best considering the grandpa of them is the german 9.3x62 lol ... more than the caliber that is the rifle offering the caliber that interests me.

anyway hope you enjoyed your hunt and more will come.

we are getting a gun dog in few weeks and our fall will be busy.

Sometimes you can turn a negative into a positive..... This was one of those times....

Ironically, I actually took "posession" of my new hound during my time off as I had ordered and paid for him in advance and he was not only my best friend throughout the time off, but I somehow landed a beagle that not only runs deer and rabbits, but points upland too...

I put "posession" in quotations because you never really own a dog.... They own you.... Lol

What a great three days that was. Memories never to be forgotten. And I say that regardless of the hunting. Just a phenomenal group of guys that came together for an awesome time in miserable weather
