Any SKS available any time soon?

As I have noted before, this lot has many extra cost factors involved....
Sending staff in country, hiring locals to work, housing, flying in food, paying for armed security, buying packing material, arranging inland transport, warehousing, etc, etc, just to mention a few....

No, I don't have any idea what they will sell for once here, but I can assure you that when we promote something it is always VERY LOW priced and very affordable, remember what we did with the M-14s ?

I'm not surprised by these factors except flying in food ! Just curious, what's the local cuisine like ? Maybe you should write a book about your arm-dealing experiences.
 
A MAN WITH A GUN;

The local cuisine ?? It may be ok for the locals but they are immune to a lot of the nasty bugs and parasites that seem to infest everything there....Much safer for us to fly in MREs....

My people had to get shots for a whole variety of nasty local specialties, Typhoid, the entire family of HEP, Malaria, the whole country is like a biological warfare lab....

Lets just say it is NOT in the Michelin travel guide or places to eat at.... Hell even some of our local fast foods would be haute cuisine there....

A book, yes I have been toying with the idea.... I have already been questioned time and time again about a certain movie out there....So why not ?

I am also excited about this project. Amazing how Marstar brings that out in so many of us :p
 
Johnone Are the stocks on the new Chinese SKS the same soft (CHU wood , balsam , whatever ) as the previous chinese models ? My last Norinco was great with the other than the soft stock. I like the original look rather than plastic.

I'm afraid you lost me here, I have had an extensive presence in the FYR since 1984, been there over 100 times, before the wars, during the wars, after the wars...NEVER had trouble moving stuff.

Yes, they are still celebrating. New Years was yesterday, which means at least another 3 days of celebrating. :cool::ar15::D
 
If they will be shipped oversea(likely method) they will be many weeks before they hit North America, perhaps March...then customs, brokers, ship to Marstar...May-June Johnone ? If so I will wait...thanks.
 
Any update on the SKS shipment John? Are they being pinned yet?

As for the ones in Africa my colleague is over there now working on that....

Regarding the Chinese military ones, Frank checked them out a few weeks ago, all is well, they are on the way to the factory for degreasing, mag altering, consumer packaging etc, etc....

First container expected in April.
