Any solutions for scope caps slipping off?

As the title says. I've been having problems with my flip up scope caps (vortex) slipping loose on the scope when i try to open them or it gets caught on my shirt. are there any good methods to stop that from happening?

I had a loose butler creek cap and used a wrap of hockey type tape on the scope under the cover. Any residue comes off with a bit of solvent.

Hairspray...put a little on the rim of the cap and when it's wet it will slip on nicely and then dried its bonded ... Easily removed as well later.

Get Tenebraex covers and never give it another thought.

Replaced my Sightron covers with Butler Creek.
Silly that a good, $1000 scope comes with junk covers.

I used a strip of stick on Velcro, the soft side, on the bottom inside of the cover.
