? any source for 357 sig brass

*they* say you shouldn't just neck down 40 S&W brass to make 357 sig, because it will be slightly shorter than spec, which is a problem because the sig headspaces on the neck and not the shoulder. However, *I* would simply adjust my sizing die to size the die to the point where it *does* headspace on the shoulder, and then go nuts with big bags of once-fired brass on a progressive press. Once your die is adjusted appropriately, you shouldn't have to touch it again.

Still, this procedure isn't recommended, and may be unsafe.
 
Thay is what I do. Have shot thousands. Only concern is that the bullets are no smaller that .355 and there is enough length to prevent set back which is the same with 357 sig brass, too. I found frontier bullets too small. 353 to 355, and a lot could be pushed in. The bullets would tumble. Never could get any accuacy until I started using my cast boolits ar .356. Can't push them quite as hard, but 4.5 of titegroup makes a good bang with no leading.
