I've been watching these for awhile now, I'm just wondering if any dealers will be stocking them soon or if there is some out there already. Any info on this you have would be great.
I found out some info on this through a dealer, here is a quote from him, "I enquired with Stoeger (Canadian importer/distributor for Steiner) regarding the T5Xi line. They do not have any stock at this time, with no eta on when (or if) they will bring any in".
Looks like we will be out of luck for awhile, probable a good thing tell they get the bugs worked out of the production line.
Just arrived Part #S5525, Steiner Military Scope, 5-25x56 G2B Mil-Dot, Illuminated. $2695. This is slightly different from the T5XI part #S5122 which is still not arrived but will be approx. $2750. Phil.

This is a better quality scope than the T5Xi series. Its 100% made in Germany and has not had any issues reported since its introductuction. For the same money (roughly) I would buy this scope over the newer U.S. manufactued scope in a heartbeat.
I owned this exact scope with the MSR reticle and everyone who looked through it side by side with a 5-25 PMII couldn't tell any appreciable difference in glass quality ymmv. I prefer the controls of the S&B and ended up selling it for another PMII that was too good a deal to pass on however I would not hesitate to buy another Steiner Military if I needed a scope.
$2700 for this scope is a steal!! Especially when you consider where the 2nd focal Nightforce NXS line will be priced at for 2015.
I've been in contact with P&D over the last few days trying to find out if they could bring in the MSR reticle for the M5Xi military since I also believe it would be the better deal especially for that price. Unfortunately at this time their distributor is not bringing them in.
No they do not come with any lens covers. Although, they said they will ship a set of Tenebraex caps and a custom throw lever free of charge to any buyers who write a review on their website. I am not sure if that is strictly for the US customers.
Right here in Calgary at Calgary Shooting Center. $2650 for the 3-15 and $2700+ for the 5-25. Picked mine up over a week ago. Really nice quality/glass/features for the money.
I got my from Wolverine supplies. I really like how compact the 3-15 is(13" long without the sun shade) and the low profile turrets. The glass is very clear, the reticle is a little on the thin side for my eyes but it's illuminated so that helps. The zero stop is really simple to set, basically when you reset the turret back to zero after the rifle is sighted in, the zero stop is automatic set at the same time.
