Any Sub 2000s back from The Vault /Kel Tec yet?

My Sub2000 has worked very well except for the safety issue at random times. I shipped it off to Vault and was expecting to not see it for a very long time but it came back a couple of weeks ago. Total time gone was probably 4 weeks.

No explanation of what was done but the old safety came back in a ziplock, new safety installed, and I haven't had a problem with the safety since.
 
Finally removed my SUB2000 (GLOCK mag) from the box yesterday and gave it a good cleaning with some G96. Headed out to the range afterwards and fired about 130 rounds of cheap Barnaul 115gr ammo with zero issues. After firing a couple mags to see where it was shooting I was able to put most shots near the center of the target at 50 yards with the stock sites. Very happy with the little KelTec.


 
Yeah, I agree. But the Vault is KelTec's distributor in Canada. Too bad I'll never buy another KelTec product again because of this. I got to fire my rifle exactly once before sending it away for almost a year.
 
And Vault won't honor the Kel-Tec lifetime warranty either. I occasionally find myself wanting another one...Too bad it's such a gamble on both quality and support.

They've told me that the lifetime warranty applies for original owner only.... Keep your receipt!

This is the reply I got from them when I enquired about the lifetime warranty for Canadians, obviously 8 month warranty turn around is bad service but they are on record with me as saying this,
Yes, lifetime to original owners in Canada. All repairs are done by Vault.
