any suggestions for first ipsc pistol

im thinking about getting a 9mm or a 40s&w thanks

I would suggest you just shoot what you are currently shooting now... don't worry about getting an "ipsc pistol" till you've been in the game for a bit.

What's your budget ? Have you taken your black badge course yet ? What pistols have you used/owned in the past ?

Get a Glock - G22. Shoot it in Standard division, or load it down and shoot Production. 1 gun, twice the fun!

contact ipsc1, he's in NS, he's got a bunch of different guns, I'm sure he'll let you try them, and then you'll know what you like. That's the most important thing...
