Hello All - excited to share this 1919 Swedish Mauser Sporter I picked up in 6.5x55. It is numbers matching and really clean. Hoping to get some help identifying the proof marks; I did some research but the markings seem to be a bit different than what I'm seeing on the web.
What I know:
- "0" on the barrel means 6.5x55
- HK before serial is that it was inspected by Helge Kolthoff
- Serial number seems appropriate for 1919
Questions I have:
- What is the "OE" & "F" at the barrel?
- What are the markings under the receiver? (7, 6, CE, Eh, +, B)
Thanks for your help!
