I am left eye dominant, right handed rifle/shotgun user. This is a pain in the ass, so I keep promising myself that I'll practice with my left hand. Still need to keep that promise though as I now live in a town and can't just go out on the back deck and blast off a box of ammo to relax.

Anyhoo, to confuse it a little more I have always shot handguns left handed Weaver, but don't get to shoot them much due to the lovely laws re: handguns/ranges and all that crap.

I love shooting gophers left handed and the targets once in awhile. Haven't shot big game that way yet.

My cousin is paralized from the waist down from a vehicle accident. He still hunts with his .338WM. He and a buddy were out hunting on his Rhino, and the friend went into the bush looking for a moose that crossed their path. While the friend was in the bush, the moose walked out behind the Rhino. My cousin spun his upper body around 180, which he can do as a result of the muscle atrophy, and shot the moose while seated, lefty (he is a righty). I think that with concentration and abiding by the rules of good shooting, I think almost anything is possible. (I can golf or play hockey either hand, shooting, maybe, have not tried)
