Any thoughts on the Browning X bolt

You like the Browning, get the Browning.

Seems a lot of guys here have "Browning envy".

We've got lot's of brownings, some over 50 yrs old(one owner), and most go hunting every year; they always are as accurate as the shooter, and we've never had a single problem with any of them.

Guys can say what they want about comparisons, but you can't go wrong with a browning, so if it feels right when you put it to your shoulder, then it's a good choice for you.

I picked up a used X-Bolt in .300 WSM in Oct. So far I've put 60 rounds through it (Winchester 180 gr power points)with no problems.Groups average 1.5" at 100 yards.I like the idea of the detachable magazine for loading/unloading when I'm moose hunting.Fit and finish on the gun is good.Trigger breaks crisp & clean.Recoil isn't bad even from the bench.I like the gun and will probably make it my main moose gun.

I have the same gun....bought it last year. I'm getting groups just less than 1".......Nosler Accubond...165 gr, with 65 gr powder. Might want to give it a try.

Shot one in 270wsm(SS). Trigger sucked, fed like ####, didn't like the action, stalk felt cheap. I guess I'm not a fan

Mine shoots allover the place even I use rest and try lots other loads.

It has the trigger made out of alluminum and broke in half when I tried to adjust it .

The 60* Bolt thingy is only one the world and me kind of not liking it

If you like A-Bolt good for you but for me it's the last rifle although I love other Browning stuff and my kids like Browning Buckmark 22 a lot , but the rifle is only thing I don't like cause it caused me lots of frustrations even though I tried to love it

It's made in japan but I guess it's made in CHINA and under NAFTA they are using other names( where ) may be one gun part came from

acurracy is good for me with the .325 Shooting a Leupold VX2 LRD duplex and it had to be sighted in to 535 yards for the lowest crosshair. Benched and shotting with my Lead sled I took 20 shots at that distance and only two where outside of a 5" circle and that was my fault as they where the first few shots and I was still getting over my flinch.

The magazine...yeah, I thought it sounded like crap to when I heard about it...but its actually great, easy to load, makes no steel on steel sound, no visable moving parts and on a cold day everything seems to be nice and smooth moving.

I just love it...going to pick up a 22-250 just like it for nailing yotes.

I second that! We have many A-bolts. The word "had" is not involved here! We have never ever sold one, there is no reason to do so! More A-bolts are very much welcome here. Haven't tried the X-bolt yet, but will do so someday soon.
