Stumbled across these online. I can get one local for a nice price. I have read they are fairly ammo picky. Anyone have one or shot one? I would consider it for a .22 semi to learn the basics on. Thanks

Well what can I say. I have owned 3 of them over a period of time. The first one..... well the front sight fell off after firing the first round through. I tried to replace it with spare sights that come with gun but the little nibs on the sight broke, so I wound up using crazy glue on the damn thing and it worked. Talk about ammo picky, I couldn't fire more then 2 or 3 rounds before it would jam, stove piped, fail to eject etc. etc etc. Finally the recoil spring screwed up the barrel to the point that the whole slide was jammed and I couldn't rack it or remove it. Finally I took the gun to North Sylva who replaced it with a new gun. The new gun wasn't much better when it came to ammo. It would only work properly for me when using Remington Yellow Jacket 22LR but not all of the time either. I finally sold it. You want my opinion, forget the ISSC and purchase a S&W M&P22. You won't regret it.....
