I have tried every set of screwdrivers close to the size and can’t seem to break that little flathead screw free. Any one had the same issue before while trying to yank out that screw? Please share what you did to make that sucker come off the gun.

I took mine off the Mav88 which is pretty much a 90% 500 clone so I can put on a saddle scope mount that has one replacement longer screw that attach to the side. It wasn't super hard to get mine out. The screw is very shallow as shown in your pic so you must find a screwdriver that completely matches that or it will easily strip. I remember I used a matching flat head in the car wrench set. Then with the shotgun, vise grip down, port facing up and my left palm pressed down with my body weight on the wrench while turning with my right arm slowly. The wrench was a foot long so it wasn't too hard.
Go buy an impact driver. Lay the shotgun on a solid surface with something to protect the finish and use a tight fitting flathead bit. Give the impact driver a good rap with a hammer and it should pop that little b@stard screw free like nothing. Its the best tool for small screws with flat and phillips heads.
Went out to buy the proper sized bit and finally with a long socket wrench to give me leverage I was able to crack this baby open. Saw some Loctite on the threads and was still scratching my head on why it didn’t budge last night when I applied heat to he screw. Now that I got it out I finally put on my side saddle. Project complete.

Nice set up , just need a limbsaver recoil pad for the magpul CTR and a Endine recoil buffer , although , I think somebody else is making the recoil buffer now , not Endine .
thanks for the tip. Didn't know there were better recoil pads for the CTR from aftermarket manufactures. I think Mesa took over the enidine line of recoil buffers though. Can't tell from just the picture if it is proprietary to their stock adapter or has the same thread size as a proper Mil-spec AR buffer tube. hmmmmm

You're welcome , I've got the Endine one with a Mesa adaptor , the tube itself is Mil-spec , the threading on the tube is the standard one used on ARs , so any AR buffer tube will fit , mil-spec or commercial tubes will fit .
And the Limbsaver pad is very soft .

You could skip the recoil buffer , just get a pad for the stock , use low recoil ( or "tactical" ) ammo , that wcould work just as well and more money for ammo .lol
When one of the ammo makers first came out with low recoil ammo , it didn't sell that well , even though very little was given up in range and it actually pattern better because the shot wasn't getting deformed as much as full power stuff , then somebody came along and slapped "tactical" on it and it started to sell .lol
