Any TNW ASR fanboys here?

The instructions are bad, do you guys know how to tighten the upper and lower back together mine have come loose?

As for the barrel I use frog lube paste on the threads and don't seem to have an issue with the barrel loosening after even 200 rounds...

You need to adjust( turn) the two studs that connect the upper and lower. They seem loctited in place so I'd try a bit of heat.

Can-down those are all great ideas, i too will experiment more with the lock nut.
On a different note today i finally had time to take the asr to the range. I mentioned earlier about ejection issues. I unscrewed the buffer tube 2 turns. Got out to the range to test it out, and it worked flawlessly. Fired 100 rounds without a single stoppage. Planning to go to the range this sat for further testing.

Hey .

TNW , on their YouTube channel, has a video on buffer tube changeouts. They mention how far to screw in the tube. I followed that, and zero FTEor FTF. I use Campro 124 gr. JHP. 4 gr titegroup. Never a fail of any sort. Did a 300 round torture test, with my daughter and I trying to make it fail due to heat etc. It made it through fine. And retained decent accuracy at 50 yards.

Our family are fans for life. Match trigger on order as we speak:)

wow wish I knew of this.

Sold my TNW to a fellow CGN'er I actually like the gun but hated it bcuz of the failures to eject with cheaper ammo. TNW even sent me new ejector extractor and bolt carrier.

I just called them and just as you said, they will ship to Canada non-controlled parts.
So I ordered 2 sets of the lower rails (w/screws). With shipping and parts it added up to 46.00USD (it's 20.00USD to ship to Canada)

However I also wanted to order the match trigger but the gentleman said they discontinued it and don't plan on putting another one out at the moment but perhaps in the future. I didn't get into the reasoning etc...

I'm just happy that I can now mount the Streamlight TLR-1HL to the side plus have a ready empty rail on the opposite side in case I decide to put something else on it later. I've already used up the lower rail for a FAB Defense Swivelling Bipod/Foregrip (CLONE) by FireWolf from T&T Arms, only because every place I looked was sold out of the OEM FAB model and this FireWolf is said to be solid and rumoured to be manufactured in the same facility as FAB. It's also half the price $75.00 CDN of the FAB OEM.

Thank you for advising that TNW will indeed ship non-regulated parts to Canada!

Cheers!

It was $25 usd to ship to my address (spring kit and two lower pins) i guess ill ask for a cheaper rate next time.

I was worried as i lost a lower pin but $3.45 at home depot had a pin that worked i just put tape on the other side as it comes through the other side an inch ....works until i get my pin...
