Any Trappers Here?

i grew up trapping in nova scotia with my stepfather and did some on my own also. it was part of my life back then but now i live in the NWT and unless you are aboriginal or have lived here before 1950 something you can't trap or hunt fur bearers and i am not and i haven't so i can't trap but would like to hear from some who can. there is a special trapping license that is available but nobody has gotten one in years. i think i'm still going to try to get it, apparantly all i have to do is get approval from from the hunting and trapping association. anyway i think there should be a trapping forum anyone else think so?
 
Just rabbit snaring in the winter, but I would like to get into trapping, the only problem is I can't find anyone who will hold a trapping course!
