I have this thing sitting in my basement waiting for me to find an afternoon to install it and was just wondering if anyone has made a video of the install yet. Thanks!

I hired a professional videographer to put this together, however, it turned out so badly I didn't release it. Suffice to say, the instructions will have to serve for some time yet as the shop here is being renovated. Currently, there is no place set up for a second attempt that would reflect properly on the product we have and the professionalism I demand. If you need help setting up Blackfeather, call me direct. I am on Pacific Standard Time. Not too early, not too late is all I go by...

I assembled it on the weekend and I now know that an m14 can survive a serious beating from a guy who does not know what he is doing :) At the end of the day it is nice and tight and done! I did crack my cheap norc handguard in a moment of frustration before I figured out the very clear instructions about the 3 screws that clamp to the barrel...lol You don't happen to sell those handguards do you?

I saw in your pictures you have a screwed in bipod stud in the rail. I know I have seen you mention the brand. Where does one acquire that?

I should have her out to the range this Friday for a test drive. I am very much looking forward to it as the blackfeathers look/feel is amazing.

lol I read it once....then twice...then said...hmmmm....he probably ment tighten everything up then hit it with a plumbers wrench...

Another quick update: a fellow cgn-er who shall remain nameless as he PM'ed me and I would not want to name him without his go ahead sent me for free a replacement handguard! This is not a dealer or anything, just a friendly CGN'er. Many thanks to him :)

In other news I had the blackfeather out and I can't believe how soft the whole set up shoots considering how much lighter it feels! The irons were bang on through the casm mount. I haven't purchased glass for it yet but I am looking forward to really testing its accuracy! This is amazing value considering the whole thing, gun, casm, guide rod, blackfeather stock cost about a grand. I am all for supporting Canadian products...when they are top quality (so...not NEA), and this is it. I could not be more pleased.
