Any word on development of a short GSG-16 barrel?

Can we get the barrel length as close to an MP5A2 as possible? Will this work on a GSG-16? The MP5A2 has a barrel length of 8.86", according to HK. This would bring OAL on a fixed stock GSG-16 to ~ 26.8"

OK fellers, I'm back.

Talked to Joe and he would be willing to make a small run of 20 or so to start *provided* these could be changed by the end user without too much trouble.

Some call me at the shop and let me know when you can bring by a rifle for us to look at.
