Any word on development of a short GSG-16 barrel?

Thanks for understanding and being gentlemen about it.

As for the new barrels, we just got an invoice from Lother-Walther for the blanks. It's all coming together....
 
All I will say is my GSG-16 currently has a 9 inch barrel installed and I have 700ish rounds through it. The rifle still functions fine and the accuracy is surprisingly good. So in saying that I can confirm that having a short barrel does NOT cause malfunctions only drawback is having to pin the stock but that is a sacrifice I can live with.

That's good news. I have already installed an airsoft MP5 fixed stock, waiting for Dlask to get the LW 9" barrels in and say they are ready. Can't wait......
 
If you put a collapsible stock on with the short barrel
How much of the stock, from the most compact spot, is sticking out? In what position is it pinned?
 
I think Leigh said that the 3 barrels would be coming today. So, hopefully he can post some pics of it installed, so we can see how much the barrel protrudes past the front of the gun.
 
Sorry dude, the bluing is late. Hopefully I can swing by tomorrow and grab it, will keep you in the loop. Don't forget my VW decal, lol.

I will get the barrels back once they are done. Hopefully that is either today or tomorrow. Once they are here I will install what needs to be installed and ship what needs to be shipped.
 
Just got word from the bluing shop that the barrels will be done tomorrow. I will grab them on the weekend and have them in the shop on Monday morning.

Will post here once it's installed and test fired.
 
Just wondering if when their done would we be able to bring our gsg 16 to the shop and have one installed? Also is there anything we would need to do on our end? Like get a fixed stock? or will you have those options covered as well?
