Anybody else into Remington Classics?

I have the .250 Savage and a take off barrel from a 6.5x55 Classic to mate up with a rifle some day.......Harold

I have the 8mm rem mag. The stock makes the rifle as I don't care for the bdl stocks at all and them older blued actions are nice and smooth.
I would like a 6mm as well but they are next to impossible to find, or even a take off stock would be nice.

Here's a couple pics of my Classics............

This is an old photo and I have sold some and picked up one..........from the top they are 257 Roberts, 6.5X55 Swede, 7mm Wby Mag, 300 Wby Mag, 8X57 Mauser, 338 Win Mag, 35 Whelen, and last but not least the "True King" 375 H&H......

I have since sold the Bob, the Swede, and the "True King" but have added a 300 H&H.........

I am actually just about to put up a Remington Model 700 ADL (I believe) on EE.

Approximately 25 years old in very good condition. Calibre is a 30-06 with blind magazine.

I am trying to put my finger on the worth of the rifle. Perhaps if anyone here is interested they can PM me.

I work nights and will be putting it up for sale tomorrow evening sometime

It is clear that some folks are confusing the term "Remington Classic," with "classic Remington."

Like Win 70, it is actually a model version. (Please correct me if I am wrong)

More like Winchester M70 "Featherweight"... it is a specific version (series) of the Remington M700... but from the posts above there is some confusion about what the OP is asking.

They are indeed their own subset of the 700 lineup.... A few common calibers were available from 1978 - 1985.... And from 1981 - 2005 there was a unique caliber available every year.....
